ran verifier now stuck in boot error cycle

    ran verifier now stuck in boot error cycle


    so i ran ms driver verifier, and watched my computer cycle a few times in a bsod boot cycle. so now that i know(?) i have a driver error how do i go about finding the issue?

    Follow this to disable Driver Verifier by booting in Safe Mode:
    Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

    Now reboot in Normal Mode and follow this:
    1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

    DM Log Collector.exe

    2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
    3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

    Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

    My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable.

    i got the disk from a friend, he had no problems on his system, and i havent had a problem with the bsod until i was messing around with ubuntu and had to do a clean install
