BSOD random times

    I'm on my phone so can't post pics till later but. If you hit your Windows key then type programs and features click on the link that shows up labeled that. Then choose to uninstall all things that say something Iike via audio. If you want to post a pic of the things shown under the list I'll tell you which one but it should have audio or sound In the title.

    Ok thanks, i've uninstalled a program called VIA platform device manager, ran driver fusion and this is the sound drivers i have the option to delete:

    Check via then let it analyze for that.

    If i check VIA i only get the option to delete, do i just delete that and then reinstall the one you listed earlier?

    Yeah just via. It looks like it found others too, but try via first then reboot and install those drivers I had linked.

    Ok, tried that but still the same, having looked at it again VIA are the only sound drivers i have on my system so not sure where to go now?

    Hey Modey, iv been busy but it seems you have done everything I would, something else must be going on I think. Do you have Skype perchance as I'm the same username on there and it would allow us to share screens to figure this out. You must have some left over drivers still somewhere.

    Hi, sorry for the late reply, yes i do have skype installed, never really used it, i have tried to sign in but it won't connect,it's not a password issue as i can sign in on the website, not really sure what else i can do.
    One other thing i have noticed since i had these crashes is that no youtube videos will play, i keep getting "an error has occured"

    Just to check what is your browser, if your not using chrome use it to see if its youtube player (html5) or built in flash (pepper flash) works for you. It sounds like you need to update flash possibly and some other stuff. Does this page say you have the latest version? Adobe - Flash Player
