I am not sure. It usually just says driver disk. Put it in the computer, if autorun starts do not run setup, select open to view files or explore disk. Look inside and see if you see a section named drivers. You will be looking for the one that says LAN driver. That is what you want to get on the internet. If you get on the internet, go to Motherboards | P8Z77-V LE | ASUS Global. That is your Motherboard and put in your Operating system and select drivers and tools. That is your best source for all of your motherboard drivers. If you have access to another computer and a usb drive, you can go there and download the drivers to a USB Flash drive or a CD and take it to your computer, and install them. I will yell you how and which ones.

Never Mind, I got the driver to install via the dvd. Alright, so I clean installed Windows 7 and I have access to the internet.

Edit: I did InstALL on the ASUS dvd (after which I read your comment)

Under chipset download the one labeled Version 8.1.0.1263 Management Engine and Version 9.3.0.1019 chipset drivers, 3 are listed.
Under Audio download Version 5.10.0.6657&6.0.1.66 which is the only one listed
Under LAN download Version 5.796&7.61&8.2.612 The first one listed
Under USB download Version 1.16.2.0 ASMedia USB 3.0
And Version 1.0.5.235 Intel USB 3.0 driver
Under Sata. We were getting errors from the Intel IRST, so for right now, we will not download it.
If you are going to use the Marvell Ports, which it sounds like you are not, download Version 1.2.0.1014 Marvell
    Sata 6G driver.

That should be all.. The next one would be your Manual. If you don't Have yours, download the one that says English and save it. It will have most of the details of what you need to know about your Motherboard.

Ok, now for the real boring part. Go to start > All Programs > Windows Updates and install all 200 (or so) Recommended and important updates. Save Service Pack 1 until the end, then be sure you install it.

The Driver Disk you installed from has the drivers which were current when your motherboard was first made, which means they are old. The drivers I said to download are much newer and more current than what you installed. Then start download and installing the programs you had installed before, if you still want to use them.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me anything.

Once your Updates are installed, shut down the computer and reconnect the other hard drives. When you start up, you will probably see loading drivers for the added hard drives and may have to restart after the drivers are loaded.

Windows Updates was already yelling at me, so I'll let it play for a while anyway. :)

One of the first things you want to install is an Anti Virus and your Graphics driver using this.
NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems Since we were having problems before, just install the Display driver and PhysX driver.

Is it normal for this update to take over 25 minutes to install?
