This isn't good. I replugged both the seagate and the usb backup drives and I still have that error. What did I do wrong?

I did. I shut down, plugged in the drives, then powered back up.
Try a reboot and see what happens. Ensure the connections to the drives are secure and check in BIOS that the drives are present.
Bios shows 2 drives in boot order, but also recognizes the backup drive in F: I'd show you a picture, but I can't even save on Paint.
I'll ask now, would you be averse to a clean installation of Windows? At this point I personally think it would be the best option available.
I have the dvd in front of me, so I can do it. Just let me know if I need to do anything special before I start.
The things I will recommend is to back up all of your data to an external source (hard drive, CDs, DVDs, USB sticks) then follow Clean Install Windows 7 for the cleanest possible install.
NoteUnplug all HDDs except the one you will be installing Windows on.
So unplug the backup USB and the internal (SeaGate) one and just leave the SSD (The one that looks like a slim Iphone)?
