Various BSODs at random times on a daily basis.

I keep getting blue screen errors on a daily basis. I noticed they seem to be more frequent when using the computer then when not using it.

I built a custom computer using PC part picker. The parts I used can be viewed at this link:
Intel Core i5-4460, Fractal Design Define R4 (Titanium Grey) - System Build - PCPartPicker

The computer has been blue screening since I set it up or shortly after. I set the computer up around mid January and the BSOD's started in Jan.

When I took a look at the memory dumps the last few where caused by memory_corruption. Otherwise the minidump causes for the other where all over the place, but mostly they are complaining about ntkrnlmp.exe.

I removed Avast from the computer as a troubleshooting measure.

I have uploaded the DM log collector as instructed.

    Any Help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

That has to be the most mixed bag of random BSOD's I've ever seen, however the first thing you need to do is install a legal copy of Windows before we can help.

Thanks for the quick reply. A friend of mine installed this version of Windows for me and I just confirmed with him that he didn't use a legal copy.

This will obviously take me a while to fix. I will let you know if there are still errors after getting that corrected.

    Questions:
Where can I buy a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate legally?
Do I have to reinstall Windows completely to make it legal or can I switch keys?

Your best are probably system builder OEM's, but make sure its from a reputable store.

In these cases, we always recommend a clean install as you have no guarantees about what came with the original installation.

I got a good copy of Windows now. Hopefully no more BSOD's. I bought and OEM version off New Egg for around $150. It came sealed in an original Windows packaging. Seems to be working great.
