BSOD at random times

Hello charliejoe, and welcome to Seven Forums. I will try to help with this problem if I can. You have 5 dump files. Each one is very consistent.

iaStor is a part of Intel Rapid Storage Technology which is Intel's Raid driver. It also contains Intel's AHCI driver. Several of the dumps included

In my experience, an I/O error most of the time relates to the hard drive. It is possible that these are warnings of an impending Hard Drive Failure. It can also be the IRST causing the Hard drive to error.

In your system specs, you list raid 1 hard drive. If you are using IRST for the raid, uninstalling it will break your raid. I would suggest running tests to see if both hard drives are functioning properly. But, based on what I can tell, the problem stems from hard drive errors which copuld be the drive itself or some driver, such as IRST (Intel Rapid Storage Technology) causing it.

It's difficult to find, but Intel would be the place to look, either there or your motherboard web site for your particular board. My guess would be that you have raid installed using the IRST driver from Intel. IRST is also supposed to have a utility that will tell you if one of your drives is showing errors. It is usually installed with the driver.

As far as how to test Raided hard drives, I will need to check. Most of the hard drive tests will not even see an array. You may try a check disk on the array. I realize that is not much help, but it's the best I can do on short notice.

I have never heard of that tool before, which doesn't mean much But, I am leery of third party toold working on Windows. Most of them can do a ;lot of harm.

Are you using the enterprise version of IRST or the normal version of IRST. I have an X99 board and am using the IRST and have had no problems, (yet). But, I am not using the RSTe. I'm using the IRST V 13.1.0.1058. What they say about only the first 6 ports is true, but on my board the other 4 ports are ASmedia ports, so is under a different controller. I am sure your board and CPU are much more enterprise versions than mine too. So, what I'm saying may not apply to you.
