BSOD 124, need help finding the cause.


i am actually experiencing many BSOD 124 since this morning.

i dont know what can cause it so if someone can help me find the cause of them i will be very please.

they start apararring when i was not home, i was downloading gta 5 on steam, the first one occured at 12h47, then at 13h03, after that i have play gta 5 some time until a new one appear at 17h57, after this one it was at 21h18 then 22h10,22h16,22h32,23h23 so like you can see there is a big number of them
some of the one after 17h57 where on desktop or in game (gta 5).

there are two different (all the first where the same at this one) :

There are more slots on your motherboard to apply the graphics card.

Apply it to any other slot and see how it goes. Let us know the result.

hum i didnt change the slot, but it look like it was a temperature problem when playing gta.

my cpu with hyperthreading was going overboard in temperature, i just have desactivate the hyperthreading and turbo mode in bios and now it stop heating around 85C when playing gta (before it will go over 95C and my pc will shutdown, other game it stay around 70C...)

since that i have no problem for now :)

i'm not sure too but now when going for gta i just push my gpu ventirad to 100% manually (and so in gta my gpu never go >60C)
