    Why did you run Prim95?
You said you were going to get your laptop looked at for a good cleaning and take care of the heating problem.
Good cooling laptops don't like Prime 95 because of the heat it causes.
Let us know when you have had your laptop looked at for cleaning and proper fan operations.
At that time I would have new thermal compound installed.

You have several problems but taking care of over heating problems is the first to take care of.

**Are you getting any more BSOD??**
My laptop is in the shop at the moment and they have cleaned it out and are now looking to test it to see what's wrong with it.

I ran Prime95 because it was what zigzag and another post on here said I should try as it's a way to detect what might be causing the BSOD.

I will let you know the results of the test.

I did not get any other BSODs except for that one time despite it freezing at least 10 times.

I got my laptop back and will test it tomorrow by playing the games. They have removed all the dust and have checked the hardware components and said everything is fine and I have a 90 day warranty so if it still has issues, I can bring it back free of charge.

Is oovoo bad for computers? Or Skype? I was told on here to uninstall it but it was my main way to communicate with close friends who have gone off to other colleges. Should I keep it off and just use Skype?

Oh. I'm guessing Skype is safe then? I always uncheck everything when downloading. I'm thinking the adware I got was either from IOBit as it is unsafe or my younger sibling because I came home one day with a huge issue that I thought I solved late last year.

I'll trying playing the game tomorrow and seeing if I get the same result or if it's completely fixed now.

If you're not experiencing any problems with it and you didn't download its adware, its probably safe. Having a bad reputation sometimes comes only from adding adware. Its up to you.

Well, guess what? It froze again. This time, I wasn't even playing a game my temps were the same as they were before the dust got taken out. Still 40-45 when I'm doing nothing, doesn't go up much unless I'm playing a game and it goes to about 62. But I didn't even get to play this time.

What happened this time was I was doing my homework and typing in a simple equation to have google do it for me (my calculator is nowhere to be found at the moment so I'm using Google) and when I pressed enter, it was taking a while to load. And I thought maybe my wifi router was acting up again or something. But it was fine on my phone and when I looked at the wifi icon, it said it couldn't find any wifi before it froze.

What should I do now? I have warranty with the repair shop so they can take a crack at it again for free but I would hope that this time it would be fixed completely. If any of you have any suggestions for me to try and maybe pass it along to the repair shop?

This game Domo, is it an in browser game?

Total shot in the dark but, try disabling hardware acceleration.

Did you have a crash or it just froze? Have you tried hooking it up via ethernet (if possible) and seeing if its possibly due to your Wifi or wifi driver?

I have actually. I plugged it in before and played for about an hour and it didn't freeze but I would have to try for a longer period of time tomorrow to be sure.

I will try the first thing you suggested afterwards. And it only froze. I had to hold the power button to turn it back on and when it did, it still said no wifi connections available with a red X. When I think back, all my problems started happening after my wifi started acting up....

Domo is a download game. My younger sibling played a browser game called Attack on Titan. But today, it did not freeze when I was playing. It froze while I was doing basic homework. I didn't play at all today on it. It was only on for a couple of hours.
