I wasn't able to use my laptop extensively Sunday because it's finals week. Boo.

But I'm having my younger sister on a parental controlled account play for about six hours today only on wifi to see what happens. And then I'm trying the wifi at school tomorrow afternoon for about two hours.

Should I hand my computer back to the shop on Tuesday and tell them what happened? (That the wifi stopped working before it froze completely and when restarting manually, no wifi could be found.)

So, my laptop froze today right when I turned it on.

I'm so confused at this point. I'll tell the computer shop about the wifi issues since it disappeared again after freezing but idk what's wrong at this point. This thing is making my head spin.

Edit: I just got another blue screen and it says physical memory dump complete. I will try to put it here. I restarted it manually and it froze and then the blue screen.

I gave you a starting place to work from in My post #13.

Once you use IOBit you will normally have to do a Clean Install and go from there.

Would this mean I would lose everything? Like Microsoft Word and it being Windows 7 Professional? Someone I know did a clean install and their computer is slow and looks weird compared to when they first bought it.

    Edit: here is minidump file.

I do not have a CD to do the clean install of Windows 7 and my laptop did not originally come with Windows 7, it came with Windows 8 but the person who gave it to my friend installed Windows 7 and she let me keep it. So I'm not sure how many people did what to the laptop before I received it but it was brand new out the box. I think it was just the software changes?

The computer technicians at the shop I went to have been trying to recreate the problem I had with no luck. They have left it running, played videos and games and nothing has happened. I'm starting to wonder if it's my router? But even if it was, why does my phone and my mother's netbook work fine?

I want to leave reinstalling Windows 7 as my last resort because I don't have the CD or license to use to reinstall it...

Edit: But is anyone able to tell me what is on the dmp file? I can't open it so I'm guessing I need a special software for it.

Well I've done just about everything I can think of instead of reinstalling windows. I'll try that when I save enough for a windows 7 cd. It froze again today and I'm honestly this close to just chucking it into a trash can and giving up on technology haha.

    1. Uninstall Pando Media Booster!!!!!! *
    2. Reboot.

If the 124 Bug Check BSOD continues, follow this Clean Start Tutorial but leave MSE. If the clean start fixes the BSOD problem, refer back to the tutorial and add back everything except Akamai NetSession. If the BSOD problem remains fixed, uninstall Akamai NetSession and return your startup apps to normal.

Pando shut down its servers and ceased business on August 31, 2013.
As of February 24, 2014 the Pando Media Booster has been hijacked and unsuspecting persons who install a prompted update have their internet browsers hijacked and a virus called the "Sweet Page" browser virus is installed on their machine.
