    Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

Hi, I often get a BSOD on my laptop with the error code as in the title, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
It is not always this error, occasionally I would also get a BAD_POOL_CALLER.

I got this same BSOD error messages from the day I got the laptop (I had purchased a barebone unit and installed Windows 7 OS as well as drivers myself)

In time I had learned that it appears that i get the BSOD when my laptop reaches temperatures of approximately 75-80 degrees celsius as shown to me by coretemp running permanently.
These are average temperatures when I play demanding games.

This theory had been slightly confirmed as when i purchased a cooling pad, the temperature would decrease and BSOD would be much less frequent.

I would like someone to please have a look at the .dmp files I attached or something to make sure the problem is temperature related and not a simple fix such as uninstalling a faulty driver or something.

I am not sure what other information is required, but I will gladly tell you all that I know.

    Thank you in advance

Update the realtek audio driver from Realtek

Get the latest WHQL display driver from Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us. Also let us know if you have experienced any crash/BSOD and/or artifacts during the test.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors. Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

    Let us know the results.

Hi, I did everything specified, updated realtek, nvidia WHQL drivers, completed the Furmark benchmarking and stress test with zero artifacts or BSODs during. I also did the memory diagnostic test also completing without any errors as shown in the screenshots attached.

Very nice and well documented feedback. :) A good job well done.

So we have minimized the possibilities as appeared from the dumps you posted earlier. Now we have to wait and observe how it goes. Report us back for any further issue.
