this attachment is the latest, being just after the freezing - hard reset.
See how old the driver is. It is supposed to fail. If Samsung does not have any latest driver there, better you break their customized settings.Code:--------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Manufacturer: Intel Corporation Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics (Core i5) Driver Date/Size: 7/20/2010 09:10:34, 6544896 bytes
Do a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which will supposed to get the necessary drivers via windows update. See how it goes.
Thanks arc. I will read up on that long list now on the steps
Will get back soon
I read up on the clean reinstall. However I dont know my cd key. Or rather i wad not given one. It was preinstalled.
Even the restore factory setting also does not require it.
Can it still be done?
Your laptop should have one of these Microsoft stickers on the bottom or maybe in the battery compartment. It should have the COA key on it.
Attachment 357475
Thanks layback. The bottom of my laptop does not had the sticker. I will check the battery(need to disassemble the laptop) next.
You may use Belarc Advisor.
Download, install and run it. It will open with your default internet browser. Scroll down to this part .... The key (in the bracket) is that one that you require.
Thanks Arc and bear. I wi run the clean reinstall and see if the problem persist.
Will report back with the result.
:)
