BSOD while waking up from sleep

    Hello,

I have recently built a new computer. For the most part it seems to work fine except when I attempt to put the computer to sleep and try to wake it up. Sometimes it wakes up fine, other times it simply black screens with hybrid sleep active. When I try to sleep with hybrid sleep disabled, I sometimes get blue screens (as attached below, though both are different). I had avast anti-virus installed when I got those blue screens and replaced it with Microsoft security essentials, since I have heard that avast sometimes causes blue screens. I am unsure if that solved my issue and would like to know if there are any other potential issues that may cause blue screens from waking up?

    Code:

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

You did the right thing - the Avast filter driver was the cause of the BSOD. Keep MSE installed (it has never been found to cause a BSOD) and monitor your system for further BSOD's over the next few days, and report back.
