    BSOD when playing ArcheAge, caused by cdd.dll


    Greetings. I have followed the instructions for BSOD assistance. And well. Here I am. Step 8.

    Now I realize I should have taken a picture of the Blue Screen. But I didn't.
    I remember what the title says, and something about not being enough available space in a "page"

    If I get another BSOD while playing, which is highly possible, I'll take a picture and provide better info (if needed).

    Hello, JardaxMellyl and welcome to Seven Forums. You do not have any dump files this year. Please make sure your system is set for Small Memory Dumps. This will show you how, Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

    I did look at the most recent dump file and it shows

    Which I am sure you know is your Graphics driver. The cdd.dll refered to in the dump is a Windows Update for your Canonical Display Driver. Please update your Nvidia Driver, and do it by following this link,

    Also please make sure your Windows Updates are current and your Motherboard drivers are all up to date. I also noticed dozens of errors from League of Legends. Please see if the game is configured correctly and validate your game files.

    If you are overclocking anything, please set everything to default values.

    Also please, open an elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.
