BSOD - working with a PDF file

    Windows 7 64bit.

Printed a couple drawing files and was editing a pdf when the bluescreen occurred.

    Any insight appreciated.

    Files attached.

    Thanks.

Its a stop 0x9F and it is not pointing to anything precisely other than something USB related. As you are saying about printing ... and you have two USB printers installed,

    • HP Officejet 4300 Series
    • HP Deskjet 3510 series

Update the driver to both the printers from HP's site.

And, a lot of startup programs maximizes the chance of a stop 0x9F. Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus and the touchpad driver, SynTPEnh.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

Report us for any further BSOD.
