That is your Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection driver which it has been all along. I checked and it is the latest driver on the Asus Web Site.Code:fffff880`0338c578 fffff880`04221ff6Unable to load image e1c62x64.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for e1c62x64.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for e1c62x64.sys e1c62x64+0x21ff6
Hi Steve.
Please dont take it otherwise, I just wint to double check that the network driver is really the latest one (Version 17.2.0.0) or an earlier version (Version 16.6.0.0). As the timestamp is closer to the release date of Version 16.6.0.0.

Hi cjcarroll. Do the following:
- Press the "windows" key and "R" together on the keyboard. It will open the Run dialog.
- Type devmgmt.msc there and hit enter. It will open the Device Manager window.
- Double Click on "Network adapters". It will list down all installed network adapters.
- Right click on Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection (or any similar name with Intel), Select "Properties" in the context menu. A new window will appear, with the "General" tab selected.
- Click on the Driver tab.
- Take a screenshot and upload it here.
It will let us see the driver version installed.

[URL= "https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/47549/Intel-82579-Gigabit-Ethernet-Controller" ] this is a link that i found that shows all the newest drivers for my network connection driver. I'm not the expert here so please tell me if I am wrong! and I do not want to step out of bounds I'm jsut trying to help :)
alright awesome. i can't tell if his timezone is 9 at night or in the morning.
This link lists the network drivers of Intel 82579 Gigabit, whereas your network adapter is 82579V Gigabit. Intel has only Server Drivers listed for it: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=Intel+82579V+gigabit.
If you have a doubt, you get a driver from the link that you posted. But before doing that, download and save the Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Driver V17.2.0.0 for Windows Version 17.2.0.0 from Motherboards | P8Z77-V | ASUS Global. If the drivers form your link does not work (as there is a confusion) uninstall that and try the V17.2.0.0.
