BSOD showing BAD_POOL_HEADER
(Here's my quick intro about myself: I have a computer that usually runs fabulously, I've had it a little over a year. My ex boyfriend built it for me and tried to teach me a lot about computers, I've learned a little but I'm still a novice. I don't know much about the "inside" of this computer so to speak so I'm hoping I can convey my issues well enough for you wonderful people to help me and this once magical computer. I apologize and thanks in advance for your patience!)
This started randomly about 3 days ago. I was on tumblr and tumblr has TONS of photos. GIFS weren't loading properly which NEVER happens, this computer runs great. Got angry about it and went off tumblr. Hours later while watching youtube videos, I got the first blue screen. I've tried seeing if my problems were caused by my malewarebytes. I uninstalled it and reinstalled a version that I can trust is legit. I'm still seeing a ton of pixel-y looking images and gifs that load weird. I downloaded bluescreenview and it shows ntoskrnl.exe and tcpip.sys in red. I have no idea what this means. I've tried to update my drivers with the AMD automatic detect and update driver program (because I know I have some AMD hardware in this computer) but i get an nsis error when I try to download the drivers. Tried clearing things like my internet cache and any registry errors with CCleaner but it didn't seem to do anything.
Meanwhile, I'm very nervous because I've been getting by without virus protection for a while now and I'm feeling like I might have to go out and buy one tomorrow. Nothing seems to be working, I just moved and started a full time job and only have tonight (May 24th) and tomorrow (May 25th) to try to fix this problem before another 40 hour work week. Please help and thanks in advance. :) -Rachel
