When you get ready for the Clean install, make sure to disconnect all hard drives except the one you want Windows installed on. Just unplugging 1 wire from them is good enough. Then follow this, Clean Install Windows 7.

I would suggest you download your Motherboard drivers to a USB flash drive first, especially the Lan Driver so you will be able to get online. Also, get all of your installation disks, Activation Numbers and download any installers you will need. That way everything is right there in front of you and the task will not be so bad.

Thanks essenbe, I have scanned the system with both the tools you advise, came back with nothing, but will do it again.
You said in your earlier post to uninstall gigabyte utility's, not sure what they might be? but if I reinstall will that remove them?

    Downloading superantispyware now.

Yes, that will uninstall them. They would be named, something like Easy Tune, System Information Viewer, Smart switch or V-Tuner. When you download drivers from Gigabyte, select Utilities from the dropdown on the left of where you select your OS. It will give you a list. When you do a clean install, just don't download and install any of those utilities.

I would just delete them all. I think if you keep pushing continue, it will delete them.

Just had another BSOD when scanning with superantispyware.

One of those Gigabyte Utilities we were talking about.

    Code:
Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

Just before I jump in to a reinstall, the first thing I did when I got the pc was to create a system repair disc, should I try that first or just straight into a reinstall?
