BSOD on boot - driver issues causing various BSOD

I keep having various BSODs on boot only, and after some hours of searching, it seems to come down to memory addressing out of range with drivers, according to the web. However, I could be wrong, and that is why I'm here. NTFS.sys, kernel errors, and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, 0x0000007E, seem to be the popular ones that have occurred and all multiple times over the last few months. I've nuked all the drivers and updated all the ones I can think of from chipset to peripherals. I'm tired, and not as experienced as the people here with debugging, so I figured I'd dump my report and ask for help. What is causing this boot freeze-up? Also, it doesn't happen every time. I can restart the computer up to 3 times max, and once in windows it is fine no matter how long I use it, or what hardware I use. ZIP is attached. Thanks!

I would suggest you to uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. At least as a test. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

See how it goes. Report us for any further BSOD.

I uninstalled Avast. I'll update whether or not things change after awhile.

Not 1 BSOD since uninstalling Avast. Might be anecdotal at this point, but compared to the previous frequency of BSODs I'd say you solved my problem.

If not I'll flip my desk at a later time.

    Thanks :)

How reliable is MSE compared to a suite like Avast, though? Especially with link-bourn viruses and malware.

Nevermind I can just Google that stuff. Thanks.

Google will not give you the right answer to the question.

MSE+MBAM is safer than anything else.

But that is not the point of discussion here, you need to get rid of Avast for your BSOD issue.
