    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE Npfs.SYS

    Hello,

My pc was in sleep mode or was going into sleep mode or turned on from sleep mode.

I don't know. Was watching tv. The point is it happened when I wasn't doing anything on the pc.

Attached is the zip file with all the info. :)

However I feel something must have gone wrong because the file is empty? I don't know. Tried it again and file is empty again.

The most crucial file to find out what happened I did attach below it. The minidump.

I do and I tried running the tool but it didn't work. Still I provided the mini dump is this not enough to debug the situation?

The crash dump is blaming Avira for the BSOD. It says .....
    Code:
    BugCheck 9F, {3, fffffa8012bd0060, fffff80005d263d8, fffffa802425ce10}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for avfwim.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for avfwim.sys
    Probably caused by : avfwim.sys

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
    Code:
    IMAGE_NAME: avfwim.sys

    DEBUG_FLR_IMAGE_TIMESTAMP: 50fe6f85

    MODULE_NAME: avfwim

    FAULTING_MODULE: fffff88009085000 avfwim
    Code:
    >[ 16, 2] 0 e1 fffffa8017f0e050 00000000 fffff80004320210-fffffa8019e08420 Success Error Cancel pending
               \Driver\avfwim nt!PopSystemIrpCompletion
                Args: 00014400 00000000 00000004 00000002
Now this is .... from your system ....
    Code:
Name [00000021] AvFw Packet Filter Miniport
    Adapter Type Ethernet 802.3
    Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\avfwim.sys (13.6.0.618, 111,92 KB (114.608 bytes), 2/11/2014 11:05)
    Driver Reference Table - avfwim.sys

I would suggest you to Uninstall Avira using Avira AntiVir Removal Tool. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Report us for any further BSOD after doing it.
