    intermittent BSODs coming back

Last fall I was getting increasing numbers of BSODs until finally, in January, I did a clean re-install of Windows. They stopped happening but, of course, as time passed I slowly added programs back into the computer; I assume that one of them has something to do with the BSODs coming back, but that's just a guess. I got a BSOD today and one on June 3 and they both happened while I was away from the pc; in both cases I had been gone for over an hour and I walked in and saw the blue screen. I don't know about the one on June 3, but today I had left Chrome up with 2 tabs open, and maybe photoshop elements but I'm not sure about that. There are only 2 dumps in the system but there have been one or two others in recent months. I suppose that's because of doing cleaning on the machine and not realizing the importance of the dump files. Both of the minidumps are in my upload. I read the posting instructions but if there's something I missed just let me know; my system specs seem to be current.
    Thanks for any help.

    ---------
Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. At least as a test. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Report us for any further BSOD after doing it.
