@Arc Well yea it was kinda screwed up but oh well, thanks for correcting me :)
I had a BSOD again. I am uploading the DM log collector results.
If you have the slightest idea of what the problem could be please help.
Thank you
It is display failure, apparently in normal system activities.
The possible causes of this failure is .....Code:BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff8800f1a8dbb, fffff88005bb3228, fffff88005bb2a80} Probably caused by : atikmdag.sys ( atikmdag+c7dbb ) Followup: MachineOwner ---------
- A failing driver
- A failing GPU
- An overclocked system
- An overheating system.
- Failures from the part of the power supply
We noticed that the issue is occurring with multiple version of the display driver, including 14.4 WHQL which is a very stable one. So it is not a driver issue, apparently.
As the furmark stress test passed, we cannot say it a failing graphics card.
So it is something deeper issue at the hardware level, as I think. That is why I requested ICIT2LOL to guide you, he knows the hardware in depth.
Is there a way to test the PCIe slot?
It's the olny x16 so I cannot put the GPU in another one to see if the problem is solved.
Thank you!
Well my only suggestion is to find another (?spare that you know is ok) card and try it.
PS I have just looked the specs of that board and it has two PCi slots GIGABYTE H87-D3H (BIOS version F8) GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-H87-D3H (rev. 1.x) or do you mean one slot is already been taken up by something else?
Either way remove the other device and put the card in it's slot and vice versa again either way one is not going to work if it is the slot(s)
You can use a x8 PCIe slot too, even a 4x one. However, OP said he changed the motherboard 3 times with the same model.
Sorry I haven't read the whole thread, apologies if this has been discussed: BIOS update and a CMOS reset is what I would say.
