There are lots of browsers available there, and none of them are money oriented .... they are all free. Internet explorer and firefox are 1000 times more secure than safari. Apple products on windows are known to have very bad vulnerabilities even in current support state. Discontinued products are of course much worse.

You can get infected by simply visiting an infected site in even modern browsers. With a unsupported browser, you are even more at risk.

People do not realize this, but your browser is the number 1 attacked program. More then windows or anything else. Your browser is a big factor of your PC security and is one of the most important defenses.

I trust arc when he says your bsods are being caused by chrome.

But infections can also lend a hand in this or cause the problem to be worse.

If you really want to keep on using it then you should get MBAE(Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit). That's the best method if you want to keep using it. It is not recommend to keep using it as it is an discontinued product.

If you want to see if you are infected download MBAM(Malwarebytes Anti-Malware) and scan your computer. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free

While that suggestion for the product itself is a great idea, there should not be ever a reason to use a discontinued product.

1.) Download herdprotect: (choose the portable version)

2.) Run the scan.

3.) When the scan finishes, save the results per the screenshot below. Then upload the log here. NOTE: The scan will take some time, and you must be connected to the internet for this to work.

DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING YET. I will advise if anything needs removed when I receive the log.

Just out of the gate I am seeing a few things wrong here:

1.) You have a cracked version of Microsoft office. Having a cracked version of office will lead you to vulnerabilities very quickly. There is simply no way to justify this, as openoffice and libreoffice are free and compatible with Microsoft office.

If you installed this yourself, remove it. If you didn't, remove it. I am not accusing, but that is a red flag already.
