That is your Asus Xonar sound-card driver that has malfunctioned. I suggest uninstalling the driver by going into Start > Type: Device Manager > Select Asus Xonar > Uninstall

Restart and use the PC normally.

Let me know what happens/if it BSODs.

    Thanks

Can you please post a screenshot of your device manager with the 'Sound' section open so I can see the contents?

    Thanks

    Go to this website: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4...Desk_Download/

Download the latest VIA audio driver and install it.

After this, restart and post the device manager screenshot again.

Tip: Press Ctrl + Alt + PrintScreen to only grab the window.

it installed software called HD VDeck and the sound card is still now showing but here is the screen i dont know if i maybe installed the wrong driver here. I went into the driver folder and run the setup.exe just noticed there is a file called Asus Setup i think i have installed the wrong one.

I remember having this HD VDeck on my computer a couple of years ago and removing it due to not needing it.

Nope, you have installed the correct one :)

Now, do you have the model number for the soundcard?
