Random BSOD

Hello everyone my name is Bian

This is my first post here i have used this iste on numerous occasions though to help me out with issues in the past. How ever this one is beyond me unfortunately

Whats happening is I'm getting this random Blue screen popping up saying windows has been shut down to prevent damage to my system, i have not had time to read it fully before it reboots but i have done what the instructions say and created a file from my minidump using the software or CMD prompt software you guys have suggested and i have attached it to this post.

This has now happened to me 2 times over the past 3/4 days at just random times i have not been gaming or anything just doing things on the desktop. But it could maybe be related to over heating but im not sure.

If your PC is Blue-Screening to tell you that it's being shut down to 'Protect your computer' then that normally points to an overheating problem within your system.

Please answer the following questions:

1. Where is your PC stored? In a cabinet or is it on a desk?
2. Is there enough ventilation around the PC?
3. How many fans are situated in the case?
4. Where are the fans located (back, front, side, top etc)
5. Have you opened up your PC to remove dust?
6. Are you using the Heatsink that came with the processor or did you buy a 3rd party Heatsink?

1. Where is your PC stored? In a cabinet or is it on a desk? in a desk it is kind of closed off about 5 inches at the top and 3 each side 3 inches at back
2. Is there enough ventilation around the PC? as above
3. How many fans are situated in the case? 1x 100mm on front panel 2x 180mm on top of case 1x 100mm on back 2 on GPU, hyper coolermaster evo on cpu
4. Where are the fans located (back, front, side, top etc) as above
5. Have you opened up your PC to remove dust? not yet but i usually clean my system every 2-3 months totally removing every single peice of hardware inc cables hard drives disc drives and dust the lot, but i havent in only 6 months or so maybe 8 MAX

You mentioned in the snippet above that you strip down your system - does this include the CPU and the heatsink?

If so, when you re-fit everything, did you add new paste in-between the CPU and Heatsink?

sorry i should have made this clearer that is the ONLY thing i dont remove i just dust the heatsink that heatsink and paste have been on maybe a year.

Thanks for your reply but the strange things is i have ALWAYS used Kaspersky and never once had this issue and i have been using it for the last 4-5 years so maybe an uninstall and reinstall? cause i cant do without it also i had opened Speccy and was runnig CS:GO and my GPU was running at 70 degrees! which is quite hot so i removed it and cleaned the dust from the fan and to be honest it was not even that bad.... any suuggestions for the high GPU temp or is this within the "Normal Range"?

What's CS:GO?

As for you GPU: This is normal, there's nothing to worry about, as long as your GPU fan is set to auto, it will regulate its own temperature. If the temperature is worrying you I can assure you there's nothing to worry about. According to the Nvidia Website, the Maximum Op Temp is 97C so 70C is average; only start to worry if it goes over 90C!

and perfect i will try an uninstall and reinstall of Kaspersky and let yous know how it goes. Also this just occurred to me my Kaspersky is an online download so once i uninstall how do i get it back? i dont have teh key etc.
