    BSOD playing games and recording

Hi, I am having problems with my computers, every now and then I get blue screens. I mainly get them when I play league of legends, or I have logged on to battlenet and opened up hearthstone. I also get them when I record, so I feel like something is wrong with my graphics card, but I was wondering if you guys could help. I've read some other posts, so I hope I post all the info I need to on my first post.

Display adapter: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
    Processor: AMD FX 6300

Some recording programs used fraps OBS, and amd involved. So I don't think it's a program problem

If you need any other information, please let me know, and thanks for the help in advance!

There are various different bugchecks which indicates to a hardware related issue prima facie.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors. Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.
If possible, take a camera snap of the memtest86+ window before closing it and let us see that image.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us. Also let us know if you have experienced any crash/BSOD and/or artifacts during the test.

Stress test the CPU. It saves the result as a .txt file in the prime95's folder. Upload the file for us.

The next action will depend on the results.

    Mem Test finished (8 passes)

Passed 8 consecutive tests with flying colors... I think. That's what it means right? My RAM is OK? I'll do the video stress test.

I'm going to guess that it'll also take the entire day, so I'll start it before I leave for work. I couldn't get a screen shot, I didn't know how, I tried scroll lock because it said (SP) and scrolll unlock was (CP) so I wasn't sure if that was like screen print, I also hit the print screen button, but that didn't work, but I snagged a pic w/ my phone in case it didn't work, hope it's readable.

The flying colors may indicate to display, but apparently your RAM is not OK.

Your motherboard, BIOSTAT TA970 supports 800 MHz minimum, and above. Your RAM has 1600 MHz XMP profile. Then why on earth you are running it at 667 MHz????
    Code:
      Physical Memory Array Handle 0008h
Memory Error Info Handle [Not Provided]
      Total Width 64 bits
      Data Width 64 bits
      Size 8192MB
      Form Factor 09h - DIMM
      Device Locator A1_DIMM3
      Bank Locator A1_BANK3
Memory Type 18h - Specification Reserved
      Type Detail 0080h - Synchronous
      Speed 667MHz
      Manufacturer A1_Manufacturer3
Do whatever, but run the RAM at least at 1333 MHz, or enable XMP in BIOS to run in at 16oo MHz. There will be continued problems if you continue with 667 MHz only.

    RAM inquiries

Okay, done. I also saw an option for 1866 mhz on manual, but I figured the 1600 mhz is safe on xmp, and I read that there's not too much of a difference... going off topic from bsod, would you suggest I set it to 1866mhz?

Oh, and thanks for the help! This has been really helpful, and I'm learning a lot.

Keep either 1333MHz or 1600 MHz. The higher ones may overtax the RAM which may cause issues again.

Have you taken the furmark test by the way? What was the result? Asking because of those flying colors those you mentioned.

    furmark... woops

So I put the furmark test on, and followed the instructions, left for work. Came back home, test was still going on, went back on the forums, read the comments, and apparently I was only supposed to do it for like 10 minutes.

edit:Oh and I checked for artifacting before I left and when I got home. I was quite worried.

So I come back home, do all of that, go back to the program, and was like guess I should explore the help options, so I did, there was a thing F9 for a screenshot, and stupidly enough, I didn't hit the print screen button. program stops working, I don't get a screenshot.

So I already feel terrible about working my graphics card like crazy, so I just gave it some time to cooldown, I'll run the test again right now, and I'll try to get a screenshot of it.

Of course, I always have this program that came with it installed running when I installed the driver, and I put the fan on 100% because I didn't want my card burning up, and max temp according to that was 95 degrees, but when I looked at the furmark, it was a steady 94, but I read that as long as it doesn't go to basically 100 C from the forum comments on furmark that it was okay, so I'm slightly relieved, but still a bit worried because I had it going all day.

Tl;dr Give me 10 minutes and I'll post a screenshot.

    Furmark Screenshot

Okay, there it is.... Sorry took longer I figured out how to make it a jpg, which I assume is slightly better for you.

edit:So again I think it's fine, but apparently I am not very well-versed in computers. So I am all ears. I hope it's not a video card problem, but if it is, I wouldn't be surprised.

Forgot to answer your ram question

I was running it at 667 mhz just because I didn't know I was running it that low. I just know how to assemble the stuff.
