BSOD 0x00000124 since building new PC - Happens seemingly at random
Hi all,
Firstly thanks for reading. I'm ready to pull my hair out!
So i've built a PC, using the specs in my profile. And for the first day or so, it ran without a hitch, then came the dreaded 0x0124 BSOD I've done some research to try and isolate the problem but i've been totally unsuccessful.
I've changed the CPU, Motherboard, Ram, and CPU cooling fan with brand new parts and it still happens.
The computer is running totally stock with no overclocks at all. I've ran a PSU calculator and i definitely have enough headroom to run my parts.
I have also ran MEMTEST86, granted, not until completion, but there were no errors for the length of time i tried it for, plus, both RAM and mobo have been changed.
The strange thing is, is that sometimes the PC will run for 3/4 days without a hitch, then all of a sudden the BSOD will happen multiple times a day. I have also reformatted Windows multiple times and reformatted the drive properly.
I hope someone can offer some advice. I've built many a-pc in my time, and I am absolutely stumped!
Sometimes this happens when running games, or photoshop, but it can also happen while the computer is idling.
Thanks in advance,
Sam
