BSOD 0x0000001E, BSOD frequency increasing

I think my 2 year old laptop is slowly dying. At first I got BSOD when using the dedicated gpu, so I stopped using it, and that worked for a while. But now the BSOD happen much more frequent and unpredictably, so I'm wondering what is going on. Sometimes it runs fine for a whole day, other times it BSODs repeatedly. Today I even had a BSOD in Safe Mode.
Any idea what's going on?

Suggest a system restore to a date you know was ok andupdate until the problem arises and the Hiide that update - tedious but.....

The graphics driver uninstall and reinstall whatIwould do is start with an older one and work up to the latest the choice isyours of course
