BSOD playing Guild Wars 2 and other online games error 0x00000124

Recently I have been getting crashes while playing games. The screen will go black and the sound will lag and then it will crash. This does not persist outside of gaming. Crashes usually happen about 5-10 minutes within the session. I've updated my video driver and directx and ran a few passes with the windows RAM test with no errors. I've also reset my computer to factory conditions and instead of a "ntoskrnl.exe" driver crash the dump files now says its "hal.dll" issue. I downloaded software from western digital to test my hard drive and nothing came up. I'm at a loss here. Any suggestions?

I was having the similar problem. I notice you're running an Nvidia card. Try reverting to the March driver release 347.88. Ever sense the GTAV release it has been jacked up. I did that and runs great now.

Installed the old drivers, all seemed to be going well for a bit longer than the usual crashes but then my system crashed again. Same BSOD error 0x124.
