    Problems with Event ID 1001 and 6008

    Hello there!

    I've been having problems with blue screens for a good time with my Desktop and it seems to happen more when the computer is idle. For example: I've been using my notebook a lot and had left the Desktop without use for days, now when I try to use it gets rebooted when I first turn the PC on. Then if I do not use it for some minutes it reboots again.

    Thanks for the help in advance!

    Most of the BSOD dumps are blaming Avast.
    Code:
    BugCheck 1A, {8885, fffffa800522ff00, fffffa800522fea0, 605}

    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for aswSnx.sys
    *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for aswSnx.sys
    Probably caused by : aswSnx.sys ( aswSnx+26923 )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
    Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

    Report us for any further BSOD after doing it.

    Thank you for the response!

    I'll be evaluating the PC in the next few days after this recomendation and post whatever BSOD that happen.

    Edit:

    Hello!

    Only 1 BSOD happened after uninstalling avast! and that's pretty great. It's probably another problem that doesn't require so much attention because it's very rare. I'm very pleased to say that the PC is running busy or idle w/o those boring BSOD's.

    Thank you so much for the help!
