I got a BSOD after try to do a clean start up and going to youtube

    Thanks for the help, but unfortunately after I started up my laptop, it froze when I was just going through my files, so I'm going to try a clean start up.

    If you are going to try that, please use this tutorial. Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup. However you seem to be neglecting hardware issues. Ram or a bad hard drive can cause that too. If you try to test those please let me know first.

    Hm, ok should I try a memory and hard drive test through my BIOS ?

    You could, but external test would probably be better. Go ahead and try the clean startup and see if you can find which program that is causing you problems. if you need the external tests, I will show you what to do and how to do it. But, try the Clean startup first. It may take a while to find out which one it is.
