BSOD Windows x64, error 0x00000124 hal.dll+12a3b ntoskrnl.exe+748c0
Hello everybody, I just have this custom PC for Home use, I have used it around a month.
The PC had worked very good, but 2 weeks ago my wife had to use it for children's homework. Just when she logged into her user account the BSOD appeared, after around 20 seconds the BSOD disappeared an the PC automatically restarted. So she was into this loop until I told her to force shut down.
When I was home I ran Windows into Safe Mode, and there everything was ok. I thought it could be a problem of RAM memory or maybe a faulty HDD. I tested the RAM for about 30 minutes and everything was ok, tested the HDD with HD Sentinel software, all the tests were perfect, SMART indicators are also OK as expected of a nearly new HDD .
I think its a problem of drivers, the PC has a ZOGIS GT-610 Pci-Ex card, but the mainboard (Gygabyte B85M-D2V) has its own Video Chip that is disabled on the BIOS. Then I disabled the Pci-Ex and enabled the internal Video card, but the result was the same BSOD. Other peripherals used are a Genius USB Facecam 321 and an EPSON L355 printer, both are now disconnected of the PC.
Please let me know what more can I do or how to test the drivers. I will post any news here.
Thanks for your help in advance!
