    BSOD (3x) Alt+Tab while in game (Steam)

    Received three BSODs in last few minutes while using Steam, happened while playing Warface (2x) and then Besieged (1x).

    First BSOD (Warface): I thought it might have been due to trying to save a video using GeForce Experience and ShadowPlay. BSOD when I used Alt+Tab.

    Second BSOD (Warface): Geforce Experience was not running. BSOD when I used Alt+Tab.

    Third BSOD (Besieged): Changed games to test if it was simply Warface. Don't recall if Geforce Experience was running. BSOD when I used Alt+Tab.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello, Honestly welcome to the forums. I will see if I can help. All 3 of your dump files blamed your Graphics drivers.

    Code:
    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
    BugCheck 50, {fffffb240d0a5300, 0, fffff880049b5940, 7}
    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
    *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
    Could not read faulting driver name
    Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys ( nvlddmkm+ee940 )
    Followup: MachineOwner
    I would also suggest you try reinstalling the drivers using this tutorial, and install only the Graphics drivers and PhysX. GeForce experience, causes a lot of people serious problems. NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems

    I would also recommend you uninstall Norton as it is a well known cause of BSODs. Uninstall it, then run the Norton removal tool https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/...rProfile_en_us
    Then replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials (Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows) .

    Also, if you are overclocking anything, please set everything back to default levels. Try those things and see how you do, then let us know.
