Windows 7 random BSOD's ntoskrnl.exe

Hey

Few days ago, my Windows started to show his mood. I've got random BSOD's while playing, watching movies, unraring stuff.


Before nothing was happening. I didn't upgrade any drivers, i installed one update (wich i removed after this problem).

Crushed caused by :

I've checked my harddrive and memory, no errors or bad sectors.

Ataching few dumps .

Does anyone have any idea what may cause this? It's getting really annoying,

I've run memtest few times, even for the whole night, it shown no errors.

About overclocking :

My CPU /Memory and graphic card are overclocked. Altho, since i installed Win7 (wich was just after MS opened the free registration, so a while ago) i had NO problems. The only problem was CoD 5 (world at War) crushing, but it appeard to be a graphic OC problem.


The game i was playing today (prolly from this dumps) is Modern Warfare 2, i suspected that it may be very graphic OC sensitive so i reseted everything.

My CPU/Mem oc is very stable, never had any problems with any games. Everything started about 4-5 days ago.

I installed one game (Supreme Commander) , two programs (microsoft Silverlight and new Hamachi) altho i uninstalled all of them today. Still getting the BSOD's.

Im now gonna run the chkdsk and check the memory again.

lol the crashes are telling you that the overclock is not stable.

If i m using the system for few months, overclocked (CPU/Mem/Graphic card) and NOTHING happens, i can play every game, no BSOD's, crushes, errors. Then i think OC is stable.

I think you missunderstood my post somehow.

I said, everything started 4-5 DAYS ago, i didn't change anything. I have my machine OCED since 1 year, never changed any option. This is my first problem since over 2 years.

4-5 days ago installed two applications and one game, i said that becuase i got BSODS since then.

I have no idea how can be this connected to my problem. Im making regular mem and disk tests, also all drivers are up to date, including BIOS.

I will say it again then for you, only I will type it very slowly this time.

How can overclocking cause the BSOD now, if it didn't since open Windows beta, before on Vista Home Premium 64 bit, before on XP Home?

How can a problem like this, happen randomly?


There would be any signs of fail clocking earlier. If everything was alright till previous saturday, why would it happen now?


For now, i resetted everything to stock. Let's see what's gonna happen.



Btw. On Vista HP 64 bit i had the same BSOD, it was caused by (you won't believe it) CUSTOM start bar color. Seriously, if i had any other color then default, i had random BSOD's.

Yes, I read. Let's see how it goes without the overclock. It doesn't mean you have to keep it perfectly default forever.

If it bsod still, then I'm wrong and troubleshooting can go on further.

If no bsod, then at least you know the cause.

Let us know either way after a little time.

I uninstalled what i could, stock CPU /Mem / graphic card. Still getting the same BSOD.

CHKDSK didn't find any errors also no memory or hard disk errors.

Alright then. Keep it normal clocked for now. Follow my suggestions in the first post I made in the thread about updating the bios and chipset drivers.

Maybe if you're lucky, the wise one will come and analyze and give opinions/facts on this.
