BSOD playing League of Legends while on Skype call, error 0x0000003B

The BSOD usually happens just when the Skype call ends. It has happened more than once a day, I've re-installed all the windows updates, and tried to update my drivers, but it didn't seem to help. BSODs occur much less, if not at all when I do not Skype while playing League of Legends.

The BSOD problem only happens when League of Legends is involved. My computer has never had a BSOD when League of Legends is not running.

    Thank you for your help.

just as i thought, it is the actual game crashing, also there is a 0x3B error which indicates a problem with your graphics card, if you can try using a friend's graphics card and see in there is a crash

    Hi Hacb,

Thanks for your response. I don't think it's my graphics card because I have just RMA'd this graphics card, and my computer still had BSODs when I was temporarily using another graphics card during the RMA.

However, yesterday, my computer had a BSOD as I opened Skype 2 times in a row, League of Legends was not open either time, and on the second time, Skype, my VPN, and Rainmeter were the only programs running. I read that the most up-to-date version of Skype causes BSOD on some computers, so I’ve uninstalled that and installed an older version. So far, I have had no BSODs upon opening Skype, but haven’t gotten to try it with League of Legends open concurrently.

Now, I am in the process of running memtest 86 and have just ran 9 passes on my RAM, with no errors and I have installed all my driver updates.

I guess I’ll update this or something if I have another BSOD.

    Thanks!

I'll definitely try opening both programs tonight, and update (not currently near my computer atm).

Opened up both programs, loaded up someone else's game of league to spectate while I was on a Skype call, there was no BSOD. It seems fixed. Thanks for your help!
