BSOD Win 7 Home Premium partition, ntoskrnl.exe/wdf01000.sys issues
Hi,
Within the past few days I've been receiving a BSOD whenever trying to boot from my Windows 7 Home Premium partition. I do have a Windows 7 Professional and Windows Pro 8.1 as well (a bit redundant, I know!), which work just fine (Win 8 and the problematic Win 7 are on the same SSD). Here are the steps I've taken thus far:
- Tried booting into any kind of Safe Mode, but it freezes on classpnp.sys and restarts
- Tried Startup Repair from the installation DVD - waited the hour, but it did not fix anything
- Tried analyzing the minidumps on a different partition with little success of understanding them
- Tried chckdsk, scannow, etc. on that drive, which found no errors or verification problems
To be honest, I don't have much experience with analyzing BSODs - especially when trying to do so on a different computer/partition/etc. I tried using the DM Log Collector tool, but it seemed like it was only reading from my 8.1 partition.
Here's a link to the minidumps in question: Microsoft services Please let me know if there are any issues accessing them, or if you need any other information. Any help or insight would be incredibly appreciated!
Thank you!
