Which Live Linux ISO file would you recommend, Linux is new to me.
puppy Linux ( http://www.puppylinux.com/) is the smallest download, Linux Mint (Main Page - Linux Mint) is a bigger download but I like it. Ubuntu (The leading OS for PC, tablet, phone and cloud | Ubuntu) is popular too. Any of them that will work well would be a good choice.

is Linux mint 17.2 Rafaela a good choice, and just to be clear, this would not do anything to my current os right?
