Mem scan, hardware scan, antimalwarebytes, and various other diagnostic scans came up clean. I assumed it was antivirus (AVG free), which i have heard can give issues. I deleted it (it put up a fight) and installed kaspersky instead. However today I just got the exact same BSD

Interestingly when I checked the Event Viewer, the only error I had was "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." and RIGHT BEFORE IT in the event viewer log was "File System Filter 'avgtp' (6.1, ‎2014‎-‎06‎-‎30T07:15:17.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager."

This was part of my initial assumption that AVG was behind it. Though now that i've had AVG gone for nearly 3 weeks it suddenly happened again??????? The BSOD was the exact same, and in event viewer was the exact same information line right before the unexpected shutdown...

why would an AVG driver still be being called? When searching through the event viewer i notice this happens quite often, along with various other calls being made... though only two of those events seemed to trigger the BSD.

I really am at my wits end here........ Please i've exhausted all my limited knowledge at this point... If you need other information or resources I haven't posted, please let me know
