Atikmdag.sys is a ATI Video driver. Try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it here. Just install the Display Driver - don't install the Catalyst Control Center.

DO I need to uninstall Catalyst Control Center first, then unistall the driver and reinstall? I think I did this already and it still kept shutting down on me. I will try again.

All the cataylst control center comes with the download. it doesnt let you choose just the display driver
