    Whats up with the updates?

Not sure if this is just me or if others are having the same/simular issue. But the last couple of updates have caused my pc to bluescreen. When it reboots after this it asks me if I want to restore to a previous setting. That goes ok and when it attempts to update the next time it appears to go ok. Anyone know whats happening? And is there a solution?

Just the important windows updates or the optional ones? Try to roll-back your computer and narrow it down to which update caused the problem.

Same thing happened to me with some optional update I carelessly picked which happened to be a driver back from 2006. I had to roll back then disable that update to get my internet working again...

I shall have to check as the updates are automatically installed. So I am not sure if they are optional ones or important ones.

Try not to follow MS, blindly. Don't set you puter for automatic update. You don't want to cluter your machine and have problems downloading. Chose just to be notified. Before you agree to install read them, make sure it is something that you want or need. Then if it is update Tuesday and you have 6 upadates and you want them all, do a few at a time, limiting the MB that are installed at any one time. Correct your current problem and follow my instructions and you should not have problems.
