    BSOD help needed please

Hi folks, I've just had my first BSOD on this system so could someone please have a look at the attached memory dump for me.

I'm not having any problems (well, up to this) computer is running fine. I was just browsing the net when it happened.

    Thanks in advance

Hello Flik. This is a special class of BSOD - 0x116 - that's caused by the video driver and video card going unresponsive for reasons which are not obvious or explicitly recorded in the minidump. More info:

Thank you for the quick reply.

I thought it might be something to do with the graphics card/drivers.

I'll try the things you suggested in the linked post though I might be inclined to wait to see if it happens again first in case it's just a one off (finger's crossed).

    Thanks again for your help.

Not just a one off, I had another one yesterday Same error.

I was searching for Tv channels in WMC at the time. I've followed the suggestions in the post you linked.

I've checked temps and they are fine, cleaned inside of PC too just in case.

The only changes I've made in the past ten days are to install a usb TV tuner and it's drivers, oh and I installed the chipset drivers roughly at the same time as the tuner where as before I had been running with the default ones from W7 on installation.

Not sure if that could have anything to do with it?

I did a fresh install yesterday afternoon but now I'm stuck on what to do really as far as drivers are concerned...

Do I reinstall the graphics / sound / MB drivers or stick with the default ones? Graphics and sound I really need the best of as I play games. I've been running the latest sound drivers (from Asus website) and Nvidia 191.07 (from Nvidia site) for months without any problems.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Thanks
