BSOD on startup nvlddmkm.sys error - New graphics card needed?

Hi there, my problem started a few weeks ago but i waited until i had saved some cash to post here in case the consensus is that i need a new graphics card. I think it started around the 3rd of September roughly.

I have tried for hours to fix this problem myself including doing complete fresh installation of the Nvidia drivers however anytime i try to start up with drivers installed i get the error from the thread title.

I am however able to start the computer and run it in normal instead of safe mode when i am using the default built in graphics.

    Attached is my crash report.

    Hi Gaunteh,

    Welcome to the 7forums.

Please check Windows Update and install every available update, it may take a couple of times to get them all.

Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
The zip is empty of dump files.
Please make sure your pc is configured for small dump files How to configure minidump | Windows 7 tutorial

When you have the drivers for your GPU installed, please run Furmark

       Note
Run Furmark for around 30 minutes

       Warning
Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if temperatures rise too high
