Hi axe0. Thank you for your recommendation.

Initially, I followed your instructions and some of the tutorials to uninstall and reinstall my ATI driver for my graphics card, ATI Radeon HD 3470. However, upon uninstalling my graphics card driver in Safe Mode via DDU, Windows automatically reinstalled my graphics driver with the Microsoft variant. I have disabled getting automatic updates from Windows Update and unplugged my network cable, but to no avail. The display driver got reinstalled automatically.

After a few tries, as I have previously installed my graphics drivers and ATI CCC (Catalyst Control Centre) successfully, I proceeded on to do the stress test, which I ran into a problem again.

I have tried to run Furmark on my computer, however, Furmark returned an error and stopped running (it did not crash, just that the GPU stress test did not proceed after a warning.) I have the screenshot below:

May I ask, why is this the case?

Also, when I tried to reinstall my graphics driver after uninstalling it in Safe Mode (and after Windows automatically popped the driver back with a Microsoft variant, some WDDM thing), numerous errors popped up, such as Application Install failure due to source package not found, and later, a longer error message popped up, saying something is not found with long string values (I'm so sorry, I can't remember what it said because it was so long).

May I ask, why is this happening?

    Thank you!

That means the OpenGL version of your GPU is too low, that is why you cannot run Furmark.
    Furmark doesn't support your GPU.

    Ah I see.

I think there is no way to test my GPU then. >< For now, my computer seems pretty alright, even my battery indicator has suddenly switched from 'bad battery warning' and it would last for less than 30 minutes on a 100% charge, to its normal condition of discharging over 1+ hour on a full charge and the bad battery warning is gone.

I guess these are good news, and hopefully, I have no more BSoDs in the future.

I shall update here again should my computer BSoDs again. :/

    Thank you axe0!!
