    MACHINE_CHECK_EXEPTION Error code 0x0000009C

I posted this issue before but now i have new information and the PC with the problem no longer boots, it just infinitely restarts.
If i try a system repair, it blue screens with the code 0x0000009C.
I fear it could be a virus.
Also, sorry for the re-post, i couldn't figure out how to change the title of the old post (I'm a noob when it comes to forums)

    Specs (that i can remember):
    Windows 7 Professional 64x
    Dell
    Motherboard: OptiPlex 745
    Video Card: Geforce 8600GS
Processor: Intel Dual Core CPU (not much help, is it :P)

    Previous Post:
Just recently, things such as YouTube videos or just general games have started freezing up my computer. While playing Synergy (Half-Life 2 mod) my computer constantly froze, until it crashed with a BSOD but i do not recall the code, and i would prefer not attempting to create a BSOD again.

I have uploaded the (hopefully correct) ZIP file created by the "dm log creator"

Thank you to anyone willing to help :)

    Hiya and welcome to SevenForums!

    Code:
    BugCheck 9C, {0, fffff880009f3af0, 0, 0}

    Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KxMcheckAbort+6c )
Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r.
Install the latest updates from Windows Update.

Do the exact same steps for chkdsk /r but instead of typing in sfc /scannow type chkdsk /r.
