Experienced 1 BSOD but a couple issues showing with new Win 7 install

Hi everyone , I experienced a BSOD while trying to remove Kaspersky AV while using their KAVREMOVER , what I am experiencing is very long waiting after clicking on an item , doesn't matter what it is , I also just noticed when I try to install Opera it shows in programs and features but not on the desktop .

Funny thing is the options at the beginning like "send Opera crash and error info and the option for choosing who can make changes to Opera" appear to be greyed out so you can't change it .

Last thing I noticed is on a forum like "Seven forums" I can log in and use it but when I click "log out" it does not log out .

Thank you so much for reviewing the logs .

Windows 10 Pro

Hi jonnyhillow,

Unfortunately there are no dump files present in the zip file.
I also cannot find anything about a bugcheck.

Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
Please make sure your pc is configured for small dump files How to configure minidump | Windows 7 tutorial

Please visit Windows Update and install every update available, it may take a couple of times to get them all.

Please do the following:
  • Open an admin command prompt
  • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
  • When it finished reboot your system
  • Open again an admin command prompt
  • Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

New PC, developed BSOD issues within first couple days
Hey all, I've just recently finished a new build and I have been getting, as far as I can tell, random BSOD errors. The first OS on my machine was Windows 7 (which was getting BSODs from time to time), so I upgraded to Windows 10 to see if that would change anything. If I recall correctly, I...

A couple of issues - Windows Update / Repair install 'canceled' long
Hi, It all started pretty innocently. I first noticed a problem when the Windows update flag had a red marker on it. So I dug a little deeper to find out that Windows update was failing. It seems it could not do the check for updates any longer for some reason. This did happen suddenly and...
