    Hi torrebc,

    Welcome to the 7forums.

The Video_tdr_failure always points to the graphics card, but you already ruled out the drivers.

Please note the temperatures of your graphics card when idle and under load.

    Diagnostic test

     GPU TEST

Run Furmark to test your GPU. Furmark tutorial

       Note
Run Furmark for around 30 minutes

       Warning
Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if temperatures rise too high

Did as you suggested, temps were within normal parameters.

Happened to play around with graphics settings, noticed that V-sync was enabled, so I disabled and...

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

Did some research into nvidia cards/ V-SYNC and apparently this is a common issue, particularly with the most recent driver update (352.62) Some people were able to successfully resolve the issue by rolling back the driver by several updates, but disabling v-sync seems to do the trick.

Hope this helps someone else with the same issue.
