BSOD persists after restore to factory Acer M5-581t Laptop

Hello. I'm working with an Acer M5-581t, I5, 6gb ram. This model has the 20gb SSD for fast wake/cache. It was blue-screening there for awhile, so I restored it to factory. The problem didn't go away. Not sure where to go with this "pool corruption" bsod. Thanks for any advice. :)

    Hi krrrrazyk,

    Welcome to the 7forums.

Please check C:\Windows\Minidump\, are there dumps saved after 09/17?
If so, please zip them and upload them.

Checking the dump from 09/17, the cause is the Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller
Please make sure you have installed every driver from your manufacturer.

Thanks for the reply axe0. There aren't any minidumps after 09/17. This is a factory restore, so all drivers are in place. I'll update that USB driver and test. Please post if you have any other thoughts.

    Problem solved. User error

I found out the user was not safely removing hardware while working frequently with a assorted flash drives. One or more of them got corrupted. Not sure when the bsods occurred, but for sure, it was while she was using it or during after the removal.

That is the reason why the USB driver was flagged.

    Nice find :)
