    BSOD and randon restarts

    Hi,

I am trying to help a freind. Their PC randonly just restarts. I did see a blue screen once, but then PC restarted before I could take down any info! I have attached 2 mini dump file (zipped) and have a memory dump file that is too big to send when zipped. Any help or advice appreciated. The OS is win7 HP and is fulled updated. The AV is F-Secure.

Please run th tool again, there are lots of files missing.

Both dump files are indicating memory problems
    Code:
    Probably caused by : memory_corruption
Please run MemTest86+ to test the memory.

    Diagnostic Test

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

       Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Thanks for your help and for looking at the dump files. I will rerun the tool when I get a chance and also rerun Memtest for a longer period. I had run it for only 2 passes and they did not report any errors.

    Again many thanks

Unfortunately, 2 passes is not enough for conclusive results.
At least 8 passes should be complete for conclusive results and because 8 passes takes a while it is best to run it overnight.
