    error message at startup

    http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/144/errorm.png

sorry... don't know how to embed the image in a post but could you please look at the error message I have started to get at startup for no apparent reason...

I found the event in the logs and it say's something like 'Group Policy Client could not be started because it is not a valid x32 software' (or something similar)
I then found the service but it is all greyed out... I can't do anything with it at all.

I also found an entry that said windows was loading dynamic link librarys for all running software and I should check some list and make sure all is ok or summat or nuffin or wat?

If I re-install W7 with my digital download do I have to de-activate it first or summat or nuffin?

really appreciate any kind of help here guys...

My guess, you've a flawed install. I'd re-format the boot drive and do a full re-install.

To make your life easier, you may want to try a repair. Insert the DVD and select repair (which is basically an upgrade). If it works, problem solved, and you did not lose any files etc. If it does not work, you are back at square one, with no loss.
