Seems to be the number four stick ! Tested them all individually and number four had thousands upon thousands of errors after the first minute or something haha , stuck an error free card in as well just to check that it wasn't the slot and it was fine. Just goning to run my pc on 3 cards the now and see if the blue screens stop.
Would it be worth while still running verifier for a while just to see if there any issues there as well ?
Yep doesn't cost anything and then you are sure eh??
PS How much RAM are you running sounds like 16GB (with bad stick) so 12GB would be plenty unless you are running some REALLY heavy duty graphics
you would be right haha!
ill replace it or upgrade eventually , i dont think theres any need for it just now, only game i run that seems to sluggish at 4k is arma 3, everything else runs fine
i tried to run verifier but when i restarted my pc it would not boot, not even to safe mode, it did blue scrren thought, but i cant find any dump files
Please boot from the rescue media, open command prompt and enter the command
That should disable verifier and get you back in Windows.Code:verifier/reset
Thanks, thats me back into windows, is there an error report i should look for or a next step ?:)
The next step would be to check your system for problems and try again.
Diagnostics Test
System File Check
Please try following:
- Open an admin command prompt
- Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
- When it finished reboot your system
- Open again an admin command prompt
- Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.
Ran the test and it found some corrupt files, here is the cbs.log
There are a lot of files corrupted as is the source.
Please create a new thread at the Windows Updates & Activation section and read the Windows Update Posting Instructions
You can tell them axe0 send you, but I don't know if it gives you faster help
