BSOD 0x0000007e (and many others at random)
Hello Seven Forums!
Long-time forum-stalker, first-time poster. Thank you all for the great work you do. Normally I am able to get a solution to my issues by reading other people's posts, but this time I am stumped so I am making my first thread.
As the title states, I am experiencing BSOD errors such as 0x0000007e and many others. The errors seem to be fairly random both in terms of which error code I receive along with when they occur - however, I have noticed they seem to be more frequent right after resuming from standby, although they can and do occur at other times.
I am attaching the dm log collector.exe zip file AND listing the problem details in this post.
Steps I have taken to resolve the issue (that I can remember):
- Ran sfc /scannow (many times)
- Ran /chkdsk (many times)
- Ran memtest86 (twice for around 8-9+ hours each - no errors found)
- Swapped RAM sticks around to different slots (before running memtest86 again)
- Flushed ghost charge from the system (holding power button while unplugged)
- Updated drivers
- Updated Antivirus
- Ran Antivirus Scan
- Went through "Windows Tweaking" repair steps (multiple times)
- ...and probably other steps I am forgetting right now
If my understanding is correct, you may find my system details via my profile.
